What is the difference between the 5K and Party Pass registrations?
The 5K includes entry to the run/walk, commemorative race shirt, finisher medal, a world-famous Mambo Taxi, access and samples in the Tequila Garden.
The Party Pass is for those who do not wish to run or walk, and includes the commemorative race shirt, a world-famous Mambo Taxi, access and samples in the Tequila Garden

How much does it cost to register?
Registration prices vary depending on the date, please visit the Event Info page for information on pricing.

How do I manage my registration?
To manage your registration and do things like, change your shirt size or transfer your registration to someone else you need to login to your RunSignUp account at RunSignUp.com. From there select Profile from the drop-down menu in the upper right corner, scroll down to Upcoming Events and find your Mambo Miles registration and select Manage Registration. There you will find multiple tools to use to manage your registration.

Are there any refunds?
There are no refunds, for any reason.

May I transfer my registration to someone else if I can’t make it to the event?
Yes, and please see the FAQ above regarding managing your registration.

If I miss the race, can I still get a finisher medal?
No, the finisher medals are only available to those registered for the 5K and are handed out at the finish line.

May I push my child in a stroller?
Yes, however, if you want your child to receive a finisher medal and shirt, then your child must be a registered participant.

Are dogs or pets allowed?
Dogs and pets of any kind are not allowed, however, registered service animals are welcome.

Are walkers allowed?
Yes, walking the 5K course is allowed, however there is a one hour course time limit, meaning, everyone must complete the 5K by 9 AM.

Do you offer discounts?
No, we do not offer discounts. So, sign up early to save!

Does this event sell out?
Yes, traditionally this event sells out typically the week before the race. So, sign up early so you don’t miss it. The 5K is capped at 3,500 participants and the Party Pass is limited to 150.

How do I confirm my registration?
To confirm your registration simply login at RunSignUp.com using the email address you used to register, select Profile from the drop-down menu in the upper right corner, scroll down to Upcoming Events and if you are registered, there you will find your Mambo Miles registration.
Packet Pick-Up

When and where is packet pick-up?
A complete list and schedule will be posted here once it is finalized, as well, we will email all registered participants and post the schedule to the Mambo Miles social media accounts.

May I pick up my packet on race day?
No, there is no race day packet pick up.

Do I have to pick up my packet if I ordered the Party Pass?
Yes, all registered participants must pick up their packets in advance of the event.

Can someone pick up my packet for me?
Yes, but they must have a copy of the confirmation email that you received when you registered.

Can I have my packet mailed to me?
Yes, the packet mailing is $20 and you can add when you sign up, or, you may add it to your registration through your Run Sign Up account. For more details, see the FAQ section under Registration and how to manage your registration.
Race Day

What time does the race start?
The race starts promptly at 8 AM and late starts are not allowed.

What if I miss the start time?
You will not be allowed to start.

What is the course time limit?
The course time limit is one hour, all participants must have completed the 5K by 9 AM.

Are my friends and family allowed to come and watch?
Yes, spectators are more than welcome, and it is free to attend, however, if they would like to partake in the Tequila Garden or enjoy a Mambo Taxi, then they must be registered, we suggest they sign up for the Party Pass to enjoy the event and not have to run or walk.

Where does the race happen?
The race starts and finishes at Klyde Warren Park located at 2012 Woodall Rodgers Freeway, Dallas, TX 75201.

Where do I park?
Visit the Klyde Warren Park website for parking information and directions. We also highly recommend using a rideshare like Alto, UBER or Lyft to get to and from the event.

Is there a bag check?
Yes, at Customer Service, bag check is available from 7 - 11 AM. After 11 AM, all unclaimed bags will be left at the Mi Cocina location at Klyde Warren Park.
